At Ryan Elementary, we are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every student is known, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential. Guided by our Four Ryan R's, Respect, Responsibility, Relationships, and Resilience, we foster a positive school culture built on strong character, meaningful connections, and high expectations for learning. Through our schoolwide PBIS program, weekly classroom community meetings, and proactive approach to student well-being, we ensure every child feels safe, included, and ready to learn. Our dedicated teachers provide engaging, research-based instruction that promotes critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and academic excellence while preparing students for success beyond the classroom. Ryan students have opportunities to participate in enriching experiences such as STEM learning, student leadership, performing arts, Running Club, Battle of the Books, Ryan News Crew, and meaningful community service projects. Supported by an active and engaged PTO, our school community works together to create memorable experiences that strengthen the partnership between home and school and help every Ryan Royal thrive.

Drop Off and Pick Up Information

Please review our parent pick up and drop off procedures. All traffic should enter the school area only off of Mustang Dr. to Blue Ridge Pl., and then Bright Angel Way. That means you will enter the neighborhood from either Gilbert Rd to Brooks Farm Rd or Chandler Heights Rd to Mustang Rd only. Please do not enter the school neighborhood from Lindsay Rd. Thank you for following our traffic route.

Morning

Students being dropped off by car can only get dropped off in the main loop and then will walk to their playground through the front gates. Please enter the school to drop off heading North on Bright Angel so you will turn left into the school (refer to the attached map).
Students walking or riding their bikes to school will enter through the front playground gate and then to the bike rack at the main playground.
We will have a duty person at the front gates and a person on the small field next to the bike rack to help direct students.

Afternoon

All students, K-6, that are being picked up by car will line up in front of the library for pick up. Parents will use the main parking lot loop for car pick up. Please enter the school area off of Mustang Dr. to Bright Angel Way. All cars should be turning left into the school parking lot and not accessing the school from the North side (turning right)
Please make sure to have your car sign in the window so we know who you are picking up and can have them ready at the cone. Follow the car line and pull all the way forward. Please do not stop to call for your student, we will get them to the cone you pull up to in line.
Walkers and bikers will be dismissed at the bell to get their bike/scooter and use one of our crosswalks if needed. K-1 walkers will be picked up from the small playground in front of the school.
